6 Grit in the District Take-Aways You Don’t Want to Miss
Last Wednesday, April 3rd, RINGLET hosted it’s latest spring Grit in the District. Even with an extra million people in the city for the cherry blossoms, it was so beautiful to see Fostr Collaborative full of 25 female entrepreneurs coming to learn more about how to find and capture their ideal target market. There was so much wisdom shared by our three amazing panelists and we don’t think this knowledge should be kept to ourselves! Here at RINGLET we have dedicated ourselves to supporting and upholding all female entrepreneurs and we are so excited to share just a couple of key tips that we got from our panelists!
Not everyone is your perfect client! Sometimes, it is better to say no to money or potential clients to perfect your market and stay true to your brand. This is incredibly hard in the moment but will benefit you in the long term. Hold yourself and your business to a higher standard and trust your gut feelings.
It’s okay to not be doing something new. It doesn’t matter if someone has done it before - you are unique and how you form this company will be unique to you.
Listen to what your target market is asking for and create that.
Connect as a friend on instagram first - people are on instagram to be social not professional.
It’s okay to have a nine-to-five job to help pay the bills while you perfect your business and your clientele.
Love what you are doing and celebrate your wins every step of the way. This becomes essential in moments where you feel disheartened to continue fighting for the success of your company.
We are so so grateful to our amazing panelists - @tamera.darden, Founder of Darden Creative, @shannanmonson, Dietitian Nutritionist & Business Consultant, and @shannonclaire, Founder of Shannon Claire Interiors - for these killer tips that can help take your company to the next level this upcoming quarter! And another huge thank you to Crazed & Grazed donuts for the delicious treats and drinks from Southblock!
